Neuromon B.V. has developed a computer simulation of the cardiovascular system aiming to improve the understanding of cardiovascular physiology. This simulation contains a number of physiological reflexes that collaborate to keep brain perfusion as constant as possible. It also demonstrates how arterial acceleration enhances the pressure wave from the heart.
